Give yourself an afternoon of refreshment at a special labyrinth retreat for all those who need a little self care. This last workshop in our 2018-19 series will contemplate Joy: Opening to Expectancy. Walk and share in the healing powers of the labyrinth on Tuesday April 30th from 1:00-3:30. On the cusp of a new season, prepare to receive the gift of renewal and welcome back the light. We draw strength and encouragement from those gathered to walk the Labyrinth together, and from reflective self-care activities. Bring a journal if you have one.

Participants can walk the eleven-circuit Chartres-style labyrinth in the Great Hall, with its natural light and view of the Garden. Healthy snacks and beverages are provided.  A gentle setting is created with music, poetry, reflection questions, and art materials to augment the labyrinth walk, inviting responses in silent reflection, journaling and creative expression.

Retreat leaders Barbara Brown and Rhondda MacKay welcome you and offer a fine balance of music, silence and inquiring conversation. The meditative practice of labyrinth walking provides a space for deep reflection and spiritual nurture.  As we gather with intention, community naturally grows and develops.
