A Parting Gift for Dean Shane Parker
You may have been wondering about a gift for Dean Parker to honour his twenty year ministry at the Cathedral. He has asked that anyone wishing to make such a gift direct it to the Cathedral Benevolent fund which is used to help those in various kinds of need. You may send a cheque, payable to Christ Church Cathedral, and marked: Dean's Gift, Benevolent Fund. Another special gift, one which contributes to the new Bishop's vestments, is a Celtic design panel requested for his red fine wool chasuble. The panel has been ordered and is currently being made by Crofts in the UK. Many thanks to the Altar Guild for organizing and supporting this gift. Readings for next week |
