COVID-19 Updates and Plans for Reopening in September
In consultation with the COVID-19 advisors, and based on current trends in the evolution of COVID-19 in our region, Bishop Shane announced this week that on September 1 2020, our diocese will move from RED to AMBER according to our In This Together plan (https://bit.ly/3j7Pft5). Accordingly, the Cathedral is now making specific plans to reopen for Sunday service, with restrictions, on Sunday, September 6 — with the understanding that we will not move if conditions change for the worse between now and September 1. Additional details will be available over the next few weeks as the Cathedral Pandemic Task Force and members of Council confirm plans. The Diocese continues to update plans every Tuesday in the COVID Communique. If you have not seen it yet, we repost it on the Cathedral Facebook page and on our website. This is the best source of the most up to date information. |

Your support is as important as ever
As we continue to support each other during this pandemic, your financial support is as important as ever. There are many ways to continue your offerings. There is a link to Canada Helps at the end of your Sunday service that makes it as easy as leaving your envelope on the plate. Cheques can be sent by regular Canada Post or call the cathedral office and we would be pleased to help you with how to use credit cards or e-transfer. If you have not already signed up for pre-authorized giving, we can help you with that as well. The work of the Cathedral and the needs of our ministries continue and we look forward to hearing from you. |
Thank you to front line workers - and to you for staying safe at home
