Our introduction to the Cathedral was through the Girls Choir when our eldest child was a chorister in 2003. Following several years as a volunteer choir parent until the graduation of our younger daughter from the choir in 2016, then a few years as a Sidesperson, it is with joy that I continue to serve the Cathedral community as a warden.
Throughout my life I have been fortunate to have experienced worship in several Canadian churches including St. Matthew’s Ottawa during my early years, Christ Church Cathedral Montreal, Chapel of St. John the Evangelist at Huron University, St. Andrew’s Anglican Cathedral in Prince Rupert (one year as volunteer organist) and St. Catherine’s Church in North Vancouver. It was exciting to live in these locations as a result of my spouse’s various postings on the west coast during almost 18 years, however it was good to come full circle and return to Ottawa.
The majority of my career has been in the area of health care administration where I continue to work full time. During my personal time I enjoy outdoor activities and also love singing. I am currently a member of Voces Cathedrae, the Anglican Chorale of Ottawa and the Canadian Centennial Choir.
