A Thousand Doves are taking flight in Christ Church Cathedral at the Feast of Pentecost on Sunday, June 5.

This unique installation of paper origami doves – created by a dedicated team of dove-makers across the Diocese – symbolizes a renewed commitment refugee sponsorship, celebrates the contribution of refugees in our communities, and raises awareness of the urgent need to do more. The Thousand Doves Project is part of an ongoing fundraising effort in support of our shared Refugee Ministry. Additional contributions are welcome and will help this life-giving ministry be even stronger.

The installation will be in place from June 4 until June 28 at Christ Church Cathedral (414 Sparks Street). Visit the thousand doves during a Sunday service, Doors Open Ottawa on June 4 and June 5, or weekdays between 10am and 2pm.
