Listening for the voices of Pentecost

Listening for the voices of Pentecost

This year the feast of Pentecost falls on Sunday, May 31.  Details about the Consecration of our new Bishop in the evening that day will be shared very soon. There will be multiple ways to tune in and pray as the service takes place.

For our morning liturgy, again the online version, we would like to hear many voices proclaiming the Gospel.  If you speak another language, have access to a smartphone on which to record, and would like to be part of this, please send an email to Archdeacon Pat Johnston at pat-johnston@ottawa.anglican.ca before Monday, May, 11.

A Call to Prayer

A Call to Prayer

Capital Region Interfaith Council (CRIC at interfaithottawa.ca) is asking people of all religious traditions, in the City of Ottawa and environs, to spend an hour in meditation and prayer on the evening of Sunday, May 10th at 8m.  This will be an intentional time to pray about the Pandemic. Feel free to pray in the manner that is best for you, whether that be meditation, set prayers from one of our liturgical books, scripture reading...
