Homelessness and Affordable HousingMaking your vote on October 24th count The Anglican Church of Canada and the Diocese of Ottawa have officially declared homelessness and affordable housing to be a priority for our church. In January of this year, Ottawa City Council unanimously declared an emergency on housing and homelessness. Yet despite the attention given to this issue, homelessness and the lack of affordable housing continue at unprecedented levels. Please click below to find some helpful questions for the candidates about their stand on this important issue.

All Souls' RequiemCommemorating our loved ones
Please join us on Sunday, November 6th at 4 pm for the All Souls' Requiem Eucharist for the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed. This promises to be a very moving and beautiful event, as our Bishop will offer a special prayer for those who have died in the past year in our diocese. If you wish to have someone included in this part of the service, please email Canon Doug (doug.richards@ottawacathedral.ca).
Another option is to make a financial donation to our cathedral in memory of a loved one. These names will be printed in the order of service. Please contact the cathedral office by email (info@ottawacathedral.ca) or by phone (613.236.9149) to do so.
