Hello friends! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the amazing gift of four months away. It was a blessing to know that all would be well with our excellent clergy, staff and lay leaders in place and their generosity gave me space and freedom to travel, explore, and to simply be, without worry. This photo reflects the warmth and peace I felt when away, upheld by your prayers and held in your hearts - as you were in mine.

Needless to say, after many adventures, I have many stories to share and later in the fall will do a presentation on my sabbatical. In the meantime, you will undoubtedly hear a few things through conversations and sermons. I rejoice in being back among you at our Cathedral and in our Diocese as a new season begins!

On June 23rd, Commander the Venerable Jennifer Gosse-Vingerhoeds was elected and confirmed as Bishop-elect of the Anglican Military Ordinariate (AMO) of the Canadian Armed Forces. The Bishop Ordinary serves as the spiritual head and pastor to members of the Anglican Church of Canada serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. An article published in the Anglican Journal is a great way to learn more about the Bishop Ordinary's role! All are welcome to attend and clergy are welcome to vest. Children's Worship Activities | Weekly worship bulletins, books and other activities are on the shelves at the entrance to the Cathedral. There is also a table in the Great Hall to use and the labyrinth to walk. If your child is interested in being a junior server, member of a choir, or a reader, please speak with our clergy.

Parking | Street parking is free around the Cathedral on Sundays. Cathedral parking at the Vista on Sparks is off Queen Street, immediately east of the Cathedral, on the P1 Level. You MUST have the code to enter the parking garage and to re-enter and access the elevator (glass door across from the Cathedral's new east steps). The code is 3578.  It will be posted at our reception desk and listed here each week. If you enter the garage and there are no spots available, you will need to exit and find parking nearby. 

It is easy to be moved by the sacred beauty and warm welcome of Christ Church Cathedral — a place some encounter briefly, and others come to call their spiritual home.
