Thank You!From the North American Cathedral Deans Last weekend, our Cathedral hosted the 69th Annual North American Cathedral Deans Conference and it was simply an amazing effort from all involved. From the incredible flowers to the excellent food, the generous gift bags to the heart-felt speakers, the liturgical music to the kitchen party band, the unique visit to the RCMP stables to our own beautiful space, the warm welcome at the door to the delicious home baked cookies - all was simply fantastic! Special thanks to the organizing committee: Peggy Morgan (chair), Denise Gomes, Norm Villegas, Angela Williams, Katherine Spencer-Ross, and Josephine Hall; and to all helped and volunteered. The hospitality of our Cathedral was noted at every turn, and as one dean wrote, "Thanks again so much for a simply outstanding conference – you knocked it out of the park." |
Vicar on Sabbatical
Canon Doug will be on sabbatical from May 1st through July 8th. Please keep him in your prayers as he enjoys a time of renewal and rest! Canon Rob Heard will be filling in on a part-time basis. Thank you, Rob! |

Contemplative Prayer ContinuingEvery Thursday at 12:05 pm This lovely, quiet, centring service is now a regular weekly offering. So come to the Chancel for a time of prayer, reflection and silence to meditate, to calm your mind and open your heart to God's presence. |
A Time of PrayerListening for Divine Sparks in our Midst An Action Plan for Contextual Mission and New Worshipping Communities was agreed at Synod in October 2023 to help us be a Spirit-led Church and create new worshipping communities in parishes across our diocese. Monthly resources have been developed to pray, listen, consider and be inspired. These resources invite us to reflect and pray about how being fed by the Spirit can and should guide our actions in the world. You will find prayers of the people (PRAY), a Bible study guide for a selected Scripture passage (LISTEN), information on religiosity in Canada (CONSIDER) and a short video interview with Kitty Galt, whose actions at All Saints’ Sandy Hill were the origins of Cornerstone Housing for Women (INSPIRE).
