The Wild Ride at Christ Church CathedralSupporting the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund The Wild Ride is a nationwide special effort to support the work of PWRDF. Last year, we did much more than ride bicycles. People undertook other special efforts such as a run or a walk. They sang, danced, knitted or simply donated. Anything is possible if it can help raise support be fun to do. Together, we had a lot of fun for an important relief and development work. To acknowledge this, the theme at the Cathedral will be . . . “For those who walk in fear and hunger” Our focus will be the peoples of East Africa – Tanzania, South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia and Ethiopia where unbelievable numbers have fled for their lives in the midst of war and drought. We are looking for people who want to help to make events at the Cathedral this year a success. To read more: Wild Ride. To help: Paul Kompass, 613-228-2195 land line, 613-277-4122 mobile, kompasshouse@bell.net. Paul will be at a table in the Great Hall after the 10.30 am service as well. Come join us in this great endeavour to help others! |
