Wild Ride! Wild Walk!“For Those Who Walk in Hunger and Fear” Please participate or pledge support for this special campaign to generate humanitarian aid for one of the largest refugee populations on the planet. This year's goal is to meet or exceed $2,500 and we are half way there with four weeks left in the Wild Ride campaign. There is still time to make a difference by doing an activity (biking, walking, etc) or by donating financially in support of our Christ Church Cathedral Ottawa Team. On Saturday, September 16th, Cathedral members are walking in one of three possible circle routes to cross on the bridges of the Ottawa River (4.6, 5.1 or 8.9 km). Our team walk will leave from the forecourt of the Cathedral on Sparks Street at 9 am. For more information, contact Paul Kompass, Cathedral Rep for PWRDF (613-228-2195 or 613-277-4122) or contact the Cathedral office. For more infomation visit:

Join our Livestreaming TeamVolunteers Needed Livestreaming our worship services depends on a small but dedicated team of volunteers to managed the system from the sacristy. And it is a much appreciated outreach! Ideally, volunteers are available once a month, on Sunday mornings and/or for special services. If you, or someone you know is interested in this not overly technical way of serving our Cathedral, please speak with the Duty Warden or contact the Cathedral office (613-236-9149; info@ottawacathedral.ca). Please be in touch! |

Are You Able to Help with Coffee After Church? It is a wonderful way to serve Coffee hour is a great time of connecting and an easy way to meet people. Families and groups are welcome to sign up as a unit, and individuals will be put into groups so that no one is on their own. No experience is necessary and you will be contacted well in advance and given a list of dates from which to choose. If we have a roster of many people, it will be light work to provide this valuable ministry. Please contact Jane Morris (janedougmorris@gmail.com) or sign up on Sunday by adding your name to the list. Thank you! |
