New Safety Protocols

New Safety Protocols

At our Cathedral

This information is current at the time of posting. If things change before Sunday morning, we will send out a special newsletter.

Please note the following:

•  Proof of vaccination and photo identification must be shown for each attendee, every time you enter the Cathedral, unless you are 12 years old or younger.
•  Masks must be worn at all times (except when receiving communion.).
•  Every other pew has been roped off, effectively putting a 50% limit on our capacity - you may seat yourself and we ask that you physically distance within each pew.
•  The numbers of choristers has been reduced and distancing will be observed.

If you are feeling ill or uneasy about attending, please do worship with us via the live-stream of the 10:30 service at https://www.youtube.com/c/christchurchcathedralottawa.

Thank you for your patience and respect of one another’s sensitivities as we continue to provide a safe space within our Cathedral. If you have concerns or questions, please direct them to Dean Beth.

CANCELLED

It is with heavy hearts that we have taken the decision this morning to cancel Sunday's Christmas concert. We have taken this decision in the face of strong, urgent, and unambiguous calls to action from trusted public health officials in this city and province to reduce contacts immediately.

We send our greetings for Christmas to you and those close to you and look forward to sharing music with you in the not too distant future.

Music for Seniors

Music for Seniors

... and everyone else

In July we presented this unique project created by one of the choristers in our Cathedral Girls' Choir. This lovely initiative was the created by Aleesha Katary with her friend, Ally Guo as a way to bring high school students together with seniors in the community.

Music for Seniors offers virtual concerts and this month they offer the newly released 11th concert in the series and their first holiday concert. Enjoy!
