This Sunday we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent. Please join us! Holy Eucharist (BCP) begins at 8:30 am followed by a Choral Eucharist (BAS) at 10:30 am. A Family Christmas ConcertCANCELLED It is with heavy hearts that we have taken the decision this morning to cancel Sunday's Christmas concert. We have taken this decision in the face of strong, urgent, and unambiguous calls to action from trusted public health officials in this city and province to reduce contacts immediately. A Labyrinth Event for the Winter SolsticeWednesday December 22nd now as a virtual event On this darkest night, come gather round the candlelit labyrinth as we await the returning light. Originally planned as an in-person event, we are now pivoting and hope you will too! This Winter Solstice Program will not be offered online beginning at 7. Christmas Services
This year Christmas Eve services will be held at 4 pm (Family Eucharist) 7 pm (Choral Eucharist) and 10 pm (Festal Eucharist featuring Cathedral choirs and brass with Bishop Shane Parker). The 10pm service will be available by live-stream. Memorial flowers for ChristmasRemembering loved ones This year the cathedral will again be adorned in flowers and decorations as we celebrate the season. To make a memorial donation, contact the cathedral office by email at info@ottawacathedral.ca or by phone at 613.236.9149. The names of those being memorialized will be printed in the order of service. |

Offering envelopes ready for 2022Call to discuss how to pre-authorize your gifts As we all prepare to say goodbye to this 2021 year, and look forward with hope to what 2022 has to offer, we remind you that boxes of offering envelopes are now available. Distribution will be something of a challenge this year, so if you plan to be in the neighbourhood, are attending any services and/or have other members you might be able to pick up for, please contact the cathedral office. To sign up for Pre-Authorized Remittances (PAR) or to discuss other options for giving, send an email to the cathedral office or call us at 613.236.9149. Music for Seniors... and everyone else In July we presented this unique project created by one of the choristers in our Cathedral Girls' Choir. This lovely initiative was the created by Aleesha Katary with her friend, Ally Guo as a way to bring high school students together with seniors in the community. Music for Seniors offers virtual concerts and this month they offer the newly released 11th concert in the series and their first holiday concert. Enjoy! For more infomation visit:

Children may be brought to the Great Hall at the beginning of the 10.30 am service, where they will enjoy a Godly Play story and faith-based activities.
