Opening for In-Person Worship

Opening for In-Person Worship

Beginning Sunday, February 6th

It will be wonderful to once again worship together in our Cathedral! Sunday, February 6th there will be three services: 8.30 am BCP Eucharist; 10.30 am Choral BAS Eucharist; and 4 pm Festal Evensong marking the Accession of Queen Elizabeth II. The latter two services will be livestreamed, as will the 10.30 am service each Sunday for those unable or not yet ready to return in person.

The Wednesday noon Eucharist using a liturgy from Iona will also resume in person on February 9th. This service will be held in the Chancel, so please use the ramp on the east side if you require accessibility.

We have once again enjoyed worshipping with the Reverend Victoria Scott and the people of St. Luke's, wish them well as they resume in-person worship, and look forward to furthering our relationship in ministry as time goes on.

This lockdown has been particularly stressful and hard on everyone's emotional and spiritual health. Please do reach out to Canon Doug Richards (doug.richards@ottawacathedral.ca) or Dean Beth Bretzlaff (beth.bretzlaff@ottawacathedral.ca) if you need support, prayers or simply a listening ear. Take good care, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Memorial Flowers

Memorial Flowers

Every Sunday we marvel at the beautiful flowers that adorn the Cathedral. Many of you will know that these flowers are dedicated by individuals and families to loved ones who have died, some recently and some longer ago, and all remembered with a special tribute.

If you are interested in making a memorial donation in remembrance on an upcoming Sunday, please contact the cathedral office at info@ottawacathedral.ca for more information. The dedication is noted each week in the Order of Service
