Thank You Note from Bishop Shane
Dear Dean Beth, Please extend my warmest thanks to the clergy, staff and lay leaders of our cathedral for everything you and they did to make our time together on Thanksgiving Sunday a truly meaningful and uplifting experience. It was good to both “return home” and to greet the cathedral community for the first time as Bishop: in both cases I was deeply moved and very grateful. With appreciation and kindest blessings, Yours in Christ, +Shane The Right Reverend Shane A. D. Parker |

Wednesday Noon Eucharist
We now offer one weekday eucharist each week, Wednesdays at noon in the main sanctuary. In order to provide a range of worship experiences, each week we will use a different liturgy: 1st week of the month - BAS eucharist with the Litany of Reconciliation; 2nd week of the month - Creation focused eucharist using the New Zealand Prayer Book; 3rd week of the month - Healing focused eucharist using resources from Iona; 4th week of the month - traditional BCP communion service. We continue to follow all public health guidelines and so pre-registration and regular physical distancing practices are required. All worshippers are asked to arrive for the service by the 414 Sparks entrance and will be required to wear a mask at all times indoors. Please call the cathedral office at 613.236.9149 or send your email request to info@ottawacathedral.ca to pre-register. The eucharist will be celebrated and communion offered by bread only (gluten free wafers will be available). |
