Stephen Giles joins the Cathedral team after spending many years as a volunteer and member of a parish leadership team as both Rector’s and People's Warden and as a Synod delegate here in the Diocese of Ottawa. In his former parish, he was instrumental in the development of a sound financial plan that included the divestiture of diocesan assets to assist in the renewal and redevelopment of a local parish for the benefit of the local community.
A resident of Centertown for the past 35 years, Stephen is retired from the Government of Canada and currently operates a small consulting firm focusing on privacy and the protection of personal information.
His hobbies include downhill skiing, travel and spending summers at the family cottage on Mississippi Lake.
