Parking at the Cathedral
Parking on Sundays and evenings:
Parking is available on a first come, first serve basis in the lot to the east of the Cathedral, accessed from Sparks Street.
Additional street parking is available nearby on Queen, Bay, Albert and Slater Streets.
There is also a large parking lot a very short walk from the Cathedral, just east of the National Library and Archives building, north of Wellington at Lyon.
Limited weekday parking is available in the Cathedral lot. Please register your vehicle at the reception desk if you park there during the week. Note that many spaces in our parking lot are rented during the week. Check with the office if you are interested in regular parking privileges.
There is metered street parking as well as several parking garages along Queen Street between Bronson and Lyon.
The Cathedral is most easily accessed through the glass entranceway at 414 Sparks Street, which is wheelchair accessible. There is a wheelchair lift inside this entrance. This entrance and the lift are staffed by a sidesperson on Sundays and for special services and concerts. During the week, please call ahead to the Cathedral Office if you will require the wheelchair lift.
